Pre-Conference Tour: Coves de Sant Josep (Saint Joseph Caves)

The Learner Conference is pleased to announce the Pre-Conference Tour.

Join other conference delegates for a guided tour of Coves de Sant Josep (Saint Joseph Caves) the day before the conference begin.

Valencia and its region stand out for its Mediterranean culture, climate, and natural resources. One of these natural areas is the Saint Joseph Caves. Located in the town of Vall d'Uixó, about 45 kms from Valencia, Saint Joseph’s Caves are in the core of the Costa Azahar, the Mediterranean Sea, and at the main entrance to the Natural Park of Sierra de Espadán. In Europe’s longest underground navigable river, visitors will re-encounter nature and the sense of peace and harmony which only the Earth can provide. The caves are a unique and mysterious place, whose rocks have been molded by water for thousands of years and where humanity found home in prehistoric times. Archaeological finds and the peaceful passing of water turn it into one of the most important referents of the national tourism in Spain.

The tour will include pick-up and drop-off at the conference hotels by coach bus and a guided tour of the caves.

NOTE: It is recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes and to bring water.
